How do I receive the Resident Rate?
Renters must provide proof of residency at the time of application to qualify for the resident rate.
Do you have a non-profit Rate?
Yes! Renters must provide valid 501(c)(3) documentation to qualify for the nonprofit rate and a $100 deposit.
When can the facility be accessed?
Renters may occupy the space during the time stated in your rental agreement. You are allowed 1-hour of setup & 30 minutes to clean up.
When is Security Required for my event?
Events such as repasts, memorials, graduation parties, trunk parties, and teen parties (ages 13–19) require security provided by the Broadview Park District. The renter is responsible for arranging this service. Events will not be permitted to proceed unless this requirement is met.
What happens if property is damaged, lost or stolen?
Renters are responsible for any damage to Park District property resulting from their use. Any damages must be reported immediately to the maintenance staff on duty. The Park District assumes no liability for lost or stolen property. Renters agree to waive and hold harmless the Park District from any loss, injury, claim, or damage arising from facility use.
What is the alcohol or smoking policy?
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited unless a liquor permit is obtained from the Broadview Park District. Sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Smoking is not permitted inside buildings or in common areas, in accordance with Cook County ordinance.
Can the kitchen be used?
Kitchen facilities may be used for warming food only. Renters must bring their own utensils and supplies and leave the kitchen in its original condition.
Can we bring decorations?
You are allowed to bring decorations and transform the space! Glitter and confetti are not permitted. Renters are responsible for all clean-up, including removal of decorations and proper use of garbage cans. Items left behind or failure to clean properly will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
